"The hotel is conveniently located about an 18-minute drive from the airport. It's also absolutely perfectly situated for exploring Florence, very central with loads of excellent food and drink options just a 5-minute walk away. Most historical sites and galleries are within a 5-10 minute walk. We were there during a heat wave with temperatures around 38°C (100°F), so the proximity to everything was a real blessing. Our room was on the 4 floor. The view from the balcony was nice - you could see the hills and, if you turn your head about 135 degrees, you can catch a glimpse of the iconic Duomo's dome. The room itself was very spacious, with a lovely bathroom. On check-in, it looked clean on the surface, but the floor under the bed was dusty and unfortunately remained unswept throughout our stay. The rest of the room was cleaned properly though. Toilet roll provision was a bit sparse. The room had a small table fridge, but the drinks inside were expensive - you're better off buying your drinks from outside. The AC was very good, a must in the intense summer heat. A major plus: complimentary ice lollies were available throughout our stay, not just on arrival.The lack of lunch and dinner service in the hotel wasn't a major issue given all the nearby restaurants, although Some great restaurants very close by though. Parking is quite expensive at €40 a night, with valet service that requires you to hand over your key and notify the hotel an hour before you want the car back.Breakf"

"We had a very good stay in Florence. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and overall we were very happy with our experience. There are a few areas that could use a little more attention. Some parts of the hotel looked a bit worn, with noticeable marks and damage on some of the walls, and the elevator was occasionally problematic. These were relatively minor issues, though, and didn’t significantly affect our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here. A very good option for a stay in Florence, and we would happily recommend it!"

"The entire stay was perfect, from start to finish. This hotel is to the image of Florence: beautiful and steeped in history. All staff were professional, competent and very pleasant. Our room was comfortable and the all-linen sheets? Dreamy. The breakfast was delicious and suited all tastes. We could not have asked for a better location to explore all that Florence has to offer."

"I loved the hotel decor! And the hotel staff were great! Check-in/check-out was a breeze. Super helpful and knowlegeable staff. The room was a bit small but cozy, clean and a very comfy bed. There is minimal area to store/hang clothing. There was a mini safe in the room. The bar fridge included water and cream for coffee/tea which was provided at no additioal charge. The patio area is quite lovely with a variety of sitting areas, umbrellas and misters. The restaurant staff was great but the food is very pricey and not fabulous. This hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants, shops, farmacias. It was about a $15 EU cab fare from the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station to the hotel."
