Gym is tiny and needs better maintenance. The pool hours ideally to be reviewed and keep it open up to 9-10pm That would be great chilling out Overall is a great place but the cleaners need to do a better job

Incubo dall’inizio alla fine. Ho prenotato una notte il 7/11/2025 e altre due settimane dal 10 al 23/11, convinto dalle ottime recensioni. Appena arrivato a Santo Domingo ho trovato l’appartamento sporco: vetri unti, polvere fitta dietro la testiera del letto, scarafaggi sul balcone. L’aria condizionata funzionava in tutte le stanze tranne la camera da letto; il ventilatore era rotto. Ho dormito sudando. Ho comunque deciso di restare: ero in un Paese straniero e avevo prenotato con mesi di anticipo. L’8/11 alle 17 il gestore mi scrive che l’alloggio “non potrà essere usato per affitti brevi” e mi intima di cancellare su Expedia per ottenere il rimborso. Nessuna soluzione concreta, solo la promessa vaga di “provare ad aiutare”. Di fatto, a viaggio iniziato, mi sono ritrovato senza un posto sicuro dove stare. Dalle 18 alle 22 sono rimasto al telefono con l’assistenza Expedia per trovare una sistemazione alternativa: per fortuna hanno scovato l’ultima disponibile nel mio budget. Quattro ore buttate, giornata rovinata e ansia alle stelle. Non chiamatela sfortuna: è cattiva gestione e scarsa cura dell’ospite. Sporco, infestazioni, climatizzazione non funzionante e cancellazione all’ultimo minuto: una combinazione inaccettabile per chi viaggia e paga. Ho scelto questa struttura perché sembrava affidabile; mi ha lasciato in difficoltà in una città che non conoscevo. Consiglio spassionato: state lontani e risparmiatevi problemi, tempo perso e stress. Prenotata con mesi d’anticipo.
