"Rooms and hotel are older but this was expected for the age of the building and one of the reasons we booked. Requested a higher floor and had booked in Nov 23 but arrived and was told nothing available. Our room was first floor with a window looking at a roof with bird poo. Bed was comfy. Hotel staff were not well trained we were sent up stairs with all our luggage to find out we were sent the wrong way. Frustrating. Restaurant staff were fantastic. "Beautiful new hotel. A little off the beaten path, so it was perfectly quiet, yet convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Easy check in and check out. Helpful front desk staff. Great room - Comfortable bed, modern conveniences. Two small things to note- We were traveling with friends and though I booked both rooms under my name, we were on totally separate floors which was weird. Also, the automatic bathroom door worked great the first night but it was slamming shut the second night. Our friends...
