Fosshotel Reykjavik
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Fosshotel Reyjkavik. The location was perfect for us since bus stop # 12 where we met our tour was right in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and the room was perfect, very nice and clean. We stayed 2 nights and then took a cab to the cruise port which wasn't very far away. It was only a short walk to the historic church, shops, and restaurants. The walk way along the waterfront was also nearby."

Hotel Reykjavík Grand
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms are really nice. Didn't care for the open shower in the bathroom. No curtains, no tub, just a shower head. Water would get all over the entire floor, not the best design. The breakfast buffet was ok, cold food and overpriced but Iceland is VERY expensive (but very pretty)."

Miðgarður by Center Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"Greatvplace to stay. The room on the 5th floor have a great view, and had all in-room amenities one would expect. The front desk staff in particular was super friendly and helpful. Due to big tour groups breakfast was a little crowded, but the staft still managed to refill everything expediently. One observation to note is that the hotel, although sounding icelandic, is internationally staffed. So stick to the front desk for questions.."

Alva Hotel Brautarholt
8/10 Good
"Clean comfortable room Easy to check in Nice bathroom Walking distance to downtown My only complaint was the black out curtains only covered half the windows, so minimal privacy as the building across could see inside our room and it didn't get completely dark."

Alda Hotel Reykjavik
8/10 Good
"Pleasant hotel although expensive - as is everythingin Reykjavik. Fantastic location, very central, nice staff, very good buffet breakfast. We had an oversized room which was well worth it. Room was stuffy and warm - no forced air circulation. We kept window open which lowered room temperature from 25 to 23 degrees both nights, still on the warm side. Suggest housekeeping open window to air out room between guests. On the plus side, no noise even with window open since looked out on an internal courtyard."

Center Hotels Arnarhvoll
10/10 Excellent
"Our deluxe room was good and we slept well. We had a view of the Harpa and marina across the street. It was easy to leave our luggage before the checkin time, and after checkout time. Glad we had breakfast buffet included - a good way to start the day. Good hotel for one night but deluxe room had not much space to unpack. Caveats: this is a box-shaped hotel near downtown. I saw the photo from the rooftop deck and thought it had more outdoor space and was more remote, but no. Also we booked this hotel because our room offered a “free spa treatment” for each person, but at the hotel we learned that’s only for the most expensive room. And the “free drink” offer was only house wine, beer and soda - not their beautiful cocktails."

Fosshotel Lind
10/10 Excellent
"The location is great! A short walk to many restaurants. While the rooms are on the small side, this keeps the cost reasonable."

Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel

"Good place to stay in the center of town"
