Terrific for a solo traveler. My room was comfortable and cozy. The hotel’s location is perfect for walking to the museums and other sites with many cafes and pubs nearby.

Hotel Apotek was wonderful. The staff were knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. The location was central and it was easy to get to all points of interest. The property was very well maintained and the rooms were nicely designed and super comfortable. I would 100% stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel was in a very good location. However, very noisy because it’s on a square where there are a lot of bars. We had to have our windows open since there was no air-conditioning. Room was a good size, good amenities, just don’t air-conditioning!!!

The staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location that is walkable to an array of eating options as well as affordable parking. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit tight.

I enjoyed my stay Apotek Hotel - mostly. My room was comfy and clean and just big enough for me. The view from my window looked out on a city spark and was quite charming. The only issues I encountered were scant parking options for my rental car, and noisy nights. Unfortunately the Hotel is located quite close to a several bars and the late night/early morning shenanigans were annoying when I tried to get a good night's. sleep. My friend that I was traveling with had it WAY WORSE - her room faced the 'mall' side of the street and was definitely closer to the bar noise/mayhem. I also refrained from eating at the Apotek Restaurant because they serve horse meat on the menu. I visit Iceland to ride the horses - NOT TO EAT THEM. The choice to serve Horse meat is pretty grotesque (IMO). I probably won't be staying at Apotek again.
