This is a beautiful cabin tucked in the woods. Very peaceful location. Enjoyed the hot tub as well! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the cabin! It was cute and we liked the location. It was easy to get to hiking areas and to find a quick meal. Very quiet area. My only concern was the dampness of the stairs up to the front door. They were slick! Not sure how that can be managed, but probably needs to be addressed. I would recommend.

My aim for vacation in the mountains was to actually be in the woods. This cabin fit the bill. Good proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We had a great time there as a family for Christmas break and hope to come back to Wears Valley again in the future. Very private cabin!

Lovely

If you have boys, this is your cabin. Our kids loved playing in the creek. The cabin was spacious and had everything that we needed. My favorite thing was quiet mornings on the porch, listening to the creek and hearing the birds chirp. It was everything we wanted.

Cozy quiet cabin

We loved staying here. It was relaxing sitting on the porch and listening to the stream. The living room had comfy couches for hanging out together in the evening after hiking during the day. We cooked every night in the kitchen. There was an item missing in the kitchen, but they were quick to supply what we needed. The hot tub and jet bath were nice features. The showers were fine but could use improvement. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed this location and cabin very much. The only complaint was the smell of the tap water, but we just bought bottled to drink…the hot tub could’ve used a once over as well, but we took care of that. Great location, saw the entire Park and surrounding areas, and would love to come back…I’d retire there!

Cute Cabin

The cabin was a great looking cabin/ house. We had a wonderful time exploring Smoky Mountains, ( you’re at least an 1/2 hour from every thing) Unfortunately the house needs a lot of attention. There were issues with cobwebs, spiders and cleanness, even mice dropping. ( drawer in oven and bathroom)Management was quick to respond. They didn’t supply you with an enough bedding or towels, blankets were stuffed in drawer and not very clean looking, and no cleaning supplies!! It was a shame the issue in this cabin, because it really was a great looking cabin! I would not return.

Mountain Heaven

Just the Mountain get away we needed. Secluded in the woods with everything you could want. Stream and sounds of nature sitting on the patio. Hot tub at night. Amazingly decorated cabin. And just a short drive to anywhere in town, highly reccomend, and we'll be back for sure!

Perfect quite location

The location of the cabin was perfect. We like to spend our time in Townsend and with the kids we went to Pigeon Forge a few times, perfectly located in the middle of the two. Furniture was comfortable and clean. Loved sitting on the screened in porch and watching the birds and bugs. We even saw a bear! Communication with Aunt Bugs was great. We will definitely keep this cabin on our return visit list.

Close to park entrance

The property is very close to a park entrance which is a huge plus. The cabin has privacy. For those not used to well water, the smell of the water could be a problem. Nice furnishings. Beds were comfortable. The showers were small. Many lightbulbs were burned out on the back porch.

Loved the property cleanliness could have been better. Showers were dirty and small. It was a little difficult because of size with handicap child. Things from last guest were eft behind under furniture, like glow sticks and caps of bottles in bathroom. The cleaners clearly did not check all areas. Bedding was clean that was a huge plus. Needed more towels for larger groups so laundry doesn't have to be done while vacationing. Lastly the dust was horrible cobwebs above showers, tv stand clearly not dusted in living room nor mantle.I would definitely rent again though due to the accessibility for my daughter and the area being so quiet. The home was lovely. Cleaners just need to do better.

Close to the Venue and Far from ordinary

The family was visiting while attending a wedding at one of the Mega-Rentals at the top of the mountain. We wanted our own place but to be as close as possible to the event. Loved the privacy being down a long drive way (not right on top of the road). The screened in porch with tub made hot-tubbing wonderful without the worry of bugs. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin but needs a little tlc

Cabin was beautiful and in a great location. Had water issues almost the entire time to the point of no showers or even hand washing at some points. Figured out on the last day the upstairs toilet needed a new flap and unless you manually closed it after use it would quickly empty the low flow well. Also a window in the master bathroom had to be pushed shut from the outside while someone inside locked it or it wouldn't shut. Overall a great stay minus the sponge baths to get clean.

Mixed feelings

House is nice, beautiful views. Very dark due to tree coverage which made sleeping in very easy. What has high sulfer content. Made it very challenging to shower. Once you ran the water then the cabin smelt like rotten eggs. Loved porch and hot tub. Found very large spiders in bathroom then couldn't sleep. More of a me problem then a house problem though.

Private Cabin

Nice, private cabin. There is a couple of cabins in view, but nothing that makes you feel like you have close neighbors that can see and hear everything going on. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking and a nice grill. Great fire-pit with level seating and extra chairs. The pellet heater was not operational, and the cabin did get chilly at night with the electric central heating, but it wasn’t awful. We had one problem with water while there, but it was fixed within a few hours. The well water smelled awful. I reported this issue and hopefully if there is a problem with it, it will be fixed. Overall, we were pleased with this cabin and this area. After 23 years of vacations in the Gatlinburg area, we have found a cabin that we will consider going back to. That is saying a lot, considering we have previously rented 23 different cabins in the past!

Spacious cabin that creaks!

It was a great week for our family. The cabin was very spacious and accommodated all of us adults and kids. I book based on the reviews so I wanted to leave a review so future guests know exactly what this cabin offers. In no way is any of the information listed in a negative way. Plan to bring or buy a lot of your own stuff. There are no extras if anything left from previous guests. This includes garbage bags. no extra blankets so bring your own for the fold out beds. We texted the number and some blankets were delivered to the cabin. there were very few pots to cook with. Two little pots and frying pan. Very few plates and silverware. No seasonings. There are a lot of empty cabinets and shelves. the floor creaks a lot! There is no privacy because you can hear everything through the floor/ceiling from up the stairs bedroom while in the master bedroom. The upstairs bedroom has no walls to separate it from the living area. Did I mention the floor creaks a lot?!?!? Adults don’t expect any privacy in this house. there’s a lot of wide open spaces. the king size bed upstairs is really tall off the floor. My mother could not climb in the bed.we loved having a hot tub but the water was stale and stunk. Def needs some chemicals. Wehave Verizon cell phones and there was no service at the cabin. Don’t expect to call out. We were thankful for the wifi. description mentions a creek. Not one. Water pipe busted 2nd morning but was fixed by maintenance by afternoon.

Wonderful spacious and clean cabin. Easy in and out without any glitches. Secluded with incredible peace and quiet (except the crickets and tree frogs singing you to sleep). But close enough to essential shopping and restaurants and great hiking trails. The cabin was well stocked and we had great relaxing dinners at home. Nice clean hot tub. Lots to do in the Smokies! encountered a bear driving the Scenic Loop. Would definitely revisit this cabin again.
