Connemara Coast Hotel

Connemara Coast Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel also had several lovely sitting areas that were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing place to stay—we really enjoyed our time here!"

The Dean Galway

The Dean Galway

10/10 Excellent
"Please note the rooms are very, very small. There was barely room for our two carry-on suitcases. But the rooms and hotel are decorated beautifully, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a great stay. Otherwise, we loved the hotel. Best hotel gym I’ve ever seen, maybe just the nicest gym period. The pool, sauna, and steam room were an awesome perk. Perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring on foot and riding bikes on the Aran Islands. Great location - super central but just outside the hustle and bustle of the most touristy area. We didn’t try out the restaurant but got good coffee and pastries from the convenient lobby."

Leonardo Hotel Galway

Leonardo Hotel Galway

10/10 Excellent
"The location was perfect, steps away from the Latin Quarter and the Spanish Arch. The hotel was very safe and offered breakfast as well as a lounge/bar area that served food. There is also a large outdoor area with picnic tables and seating that is next to the river. The staff were very helpful in recommending food options and things to do in town. The rooms were nice, but smaller in the european style. The location is hard to beat, as you're in the middle of everything that downtown has to offer. I was very impressed by this place."

Luxury By The Coast - Sleeps 4

Luxury By The Coast - Sleeps 4

8/10 Good
"The location is fabulous - a quieter section of Salthill but close to the promenade, a local coffee shop and the bus downtown. Highly recommend Blackrock for coffee at the end of the road and Blackrock Cottage down the way a bit for dinner. The flat was fine for the two of us but was a bit tight by American standards. Very clean and Elizabeth was very responsive with our questions. Actually really liked the electric shower as you never run out of hot water. The only issue we had was that the two units on either side of us were under construction and the noise was a bit much. Definitely recommend staying here."

"The apartment had mold on the blinds and in the window seals, the smell of mold and mildew was present and made for a difficult stay. The location was perfect but the upkeep of the unit was lacking."
