We checked in quickly as we were in a rush for a dinner reservation and it was seamless - just dropping off our bags after getting the keys. The hotel is stylish and typical of the Dean and other press-up group locations.
When we got up to our room later that evening, we noticed the room was cold and that the window was open. After trying to close the window, we noticed it was broken. In addition to being cold, people were shouting outside and it was quite loud. Shortly after that, the night porter came to inspect and confirmed it was broken. We eventually moved to a new room on a different floor - but it was 40 minutes later.
The new room was fine, but in the morning there was light bursting through the sides of the blinds and people talking loudly outside our room at 8 am.
When checking out nobody asked how our stay was or apologised for the inconvenience of having to move rooms in the middle of the night (I did explain the situation but it was ignored). Overall, would not rush back to stay here.
