This property was so beautiful and elegant. The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. The area felt very safe.

Only stayed for one night and the hotel did the job. room was a little dated. No in room safe! staff were accomodating so no issues there.

Staff is terrific. The pub/restaurant has great food. I recommend the Smoked Salmon appetizer. Rooms are standard.

Very Nice Hotel - with one glitch.
Everything was excellent - except for one thing. They don't have a bar! What hotel doesn't have a bar? Perhaps I'm being unfair but they do have a bar that sits inside a restaurant. You have to wait for a table even if you just want a drink. Daft. I reduced one star because of it.

The Oakwood was delightful - from the atmosphere and surroundings, down to the room and staff. Had everything we needed and made for an easy and enjoyable stay. Would definitely book again!! Plus breakfast was delicious.

Kathrine in reception was superb, she catered for my mums mobility issues by putting is in an accessible room near the entrance. The other reception staff were so nice and the breakfast was amazing. Slept like a log and rooms beautiful. So happy, couldn’t recommend enough.

I was feeling bad with bad arthritis attack and Catherine at the front desk was wonderful and so helpful and patient. I wish i was feeling better to enjoy the hotel more but my suite was just perfect. Thank-you. I will highly recommend this hotel to others. So convenient to Shannon and Bunratty’s.

Liked this hotel. Address from Expedia confusing Had to call and still was confusing. Said airport road when in reality it was in town. Noisy late and early because of the airport location I guess. Heard folks above and down the hall. Staff was nice. Fish n chips wasn’t real good

Hotel was old and in need of paint, missing pieces in the shower, shower was hot-warm-cold-hot (not regulated well). We asked for a family room and got 2 adjoining rooms -- not ideal for a family with 2 small girls.

Clean and close to the airport
Excellent choice for being close to the Shannon Airport. Older hotel, well maintained and clean. The staff was great and it a quick ride to the airport.

This was good as an "airport" hotel for me. The gas station was right next to it, so easy to fill the rented car on the way to return it, an easy 7 minute drive to the terminal. The room was nice, check in was good (a tad slow, but within expected limits). You might have a bit of a walk to your room.

Great hotel! It was an easy checkin. Close to airport which was important to us. Restaurant at hotel had great food and nice atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable with a large patio. Would stay again!
