Top Shell Key Preserve Hotel Reviews

DoubleTree Beach Resort by Hilton Tampa Bay - North Redingto

10/10 Excellent

"Great place to stay awesome location on the beach"

Ponce De Leon Hotel

8/10 Good

"It was a pretty small room (standard with queen bed). I didn't really care about that since I wasn't planning on being in the room much. Overall the room was clean and comfortable, but the whole place just seems like it's really outdated and could use a little maintenance. The staff was nice. Not a terrible experience, just probably not worth the price. I'm guessing the price has a lot to do with the location, which is pretty much right downtown and close to the pier. They have no parking, but there's a garage across the street. The rate is $16/day though."

St Pete Shores Hotel

8/10 Good

"They gave us the wrong room at first, we paid extra for ocean view, and they didn’t have our original room available so we had to stay in the wrong room for the first day + night. But they moved our room around 1pm the next day with a better view, even though most of the view was the top of the building with some ocean. The staff was super friendly and understanding though! We did get a $100 room credit, but that went towards the daily parking fee + resort fees which was $287 total! The floors weren’t very clean in the room, and we only had 1 fork for the room, no napkins, there was plates but no silverware. There was 4 of us 😅 You do have to pay $20 a day for 1 beach chair, or $57 for two chairs and an umbrella. We did not do this, we just used towels which they supply. There was another place we went that supplied all of this and more for a super similar price. We personally won’t be staying here again unless it’s the last option. You only have a nice view with the balcony if you are on floors 6-8. We were on floor 4."
