"About 2 days into our stay we were forced to move rooms due to a "maintenance issue." No one would tell us what the issue was. When front desk called to request we move, they offered to send someone to help use move items. I went to get my new room key and the lady at the front desk (Rachel I think) was so rude. She kept asking me what the maintenance issue was, as if I even knew. She had an attitude about having to make the transition in the computer, as if it was my fault. They never sent someone to help. I traveled alone with 3 children age 10 and under. I also have family with us. we requested 3 times before we even got there to be placed in close rooms. We weren't even on the same side as each other. We requested to be placed together once I was told to move and they still wouldn't do it. Extremely inconvenient for everyone in our party. The roof leaks in the room. The housekeeping didn't show up until 5 at night. Smores were or favorite! Reserving chairs starts at 9 and "restarts" at 2pm. They told us after 2 to just find open chairs on the beach... well, obviously there were none available from the morning round of reserved seats. Handicap accessibility is not great. very much a challenge! Chairs aren't close to the water and the wheelchair for the beach can only be used to take the person to their chair then immediately return the wheelchair. I read many reviews that said skip this resort and save your money, but I was already convinced to stay here. Don't."

"This location is convenient to the highway, for an overnight stay and dinner with our grandson who lives in town. We’ve stayed here before, the price is right, balanced with easy parking, the space and comfort of the room, and onsite bar. For someone staying longer, I think I could recommend for the pool (which looks lovely), and activities available. Staff are friendly, property is clean and has been improved recently, again, a good balance for the money. Restaurant is a bit over-priced (IMO), but service and food were good."

"Very friendly staff, amenities galore, always something going on and things to do with the kids. Only complaint would be the shower. When a hotel caters to families, a pull down showerhead would be so beneficial!! The littles had a hard time getting shampoo and conditioner out. And of course as a female, I much prefer a pulldown showerhead, sand gets everywhere!"

"We arrived on a Saturday night at midnight to a lobby full of drunk young adults. Nearly an hour later we were sent to our room, which we found was dirty. And I don't just mean that the housekeeper forgot it. There was trash behind the bed & nightstand. There was one place to plug anything in & it was on one side of the bed, leaving the next person to charge their electronics in the ONE other outlet in the room. The couch was stained, the mattress felt like it hadn't been changed out since 1979. The bathroom was filthy. The shower had not been cleaned; there was hair, dirt, dust, sand, mold all over the shower. There was toothpaste or lotion smeared on the shelf in the bathroom. The windows & the coverings were inadequate, outstated, and also dirty. The entire facility except for the lobby felt like it hadn't been updated since the 90's. The lobby was polished with newer furniture, and smelled nice. It almost felt like a trap once we got up to our room & saw the tragedy of the room. We decided to go to the "sister company" which was the Hilton next door. I spent about 2 hours back & forth between the hotel & Expedia trying to get my riembursment. I will likely not use Expedia in the future due to the major inconvenience of having to fight to get my money back."

10/10 Excellent

"Sirata property was easily assessable to the beach, which is a plus for me. The location of the property was easy access to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed my stay and would return to the property. The restaurant on the property had delicious meals. The property was clean. The pool was small."
