"I booked an accessible room. I have no idea how the room i stayed in could ever have been considered accessible. The room was way too small for easy manoeuvring of a wheelchair and there was a step up to the tiny bathroom. There were no grab rails or other accessible assistants in the room. Also, there were loafs of ants in my room. Before i checked in, i got a message saying my card payment had failed and my booking would be cancelled. That was very stressful and a bit of an overreaction. On the plus side, staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very reasonably priced and in a decent location."

"I really enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in the future. Close to everything , night life , restaurants, public transportation, everything is close by. Hotel had lots of amenities and communicated with me effectively when I had any questions. "

"Although a great location and good value for money I was bitterly disappointed at the ibis London City hotel. The reception staff on the night shifts were extremely unprofessional, chaotic and quite rude. Hema particularly was exceptionally rude. The staff gave my colleague a key to my room which was totally unacceptable for any hotel to do and my colleague walked into my room late at night. Fortunately it was a colleague of mine and not a random person but extremely poor. The night security manager was also extremely unprofessional and made you feel uncomfortable coming into the hotel any time they were working in reception. Extremely poor level of service! "
