"Although "in the middle of nowhere," it was just a short 4 mile drive to beautiful Pentwater - which we enjoyed tremendously over 3 days/nights. Also, just a short drive to Ludington and Silver Beach. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable - we slept really well! Pool and hot tub were great - did not use the exercise equipment. Breakfast was plentiful with a nice selection - employee kept it well stocked and clean. All in all - a great experience, and we will likely stay again!!

"Wonderful stay with my wife. Everyone was welcoming the four days we were there. Centered on the east end of White Lake between Whitehall and Montague so very close to everything in both towns. We brought our e-bikes and access to the trail from the parking lot was great. The king room was nice and spacious. Pleasure to sit on attached deck in the mornings and after being out for the day. Saw many families and older vacationers who rented the larger rooms with kitchens. Would definitely go back again. "
"We rented all 3 homes for our stay, so there was plenty of entertaining games for kids and water toys and chairs.Interior fireplace in the larger home was nice on the cold nights we were there.Really the only 2 disappointments we ran into was if you are planning to take a boat of any size to the lake make sure the State Park boat ramp is open. All of the other available ramps are way to shallow until quite far into the lake. We were unable to use the boat we took up until the last day of our stay when the ramp opened up from dredging. The pontoon that is offered for rent is only available for the entire length of your stay. It is not available for individual days we found out when we couldn't launch ours.The large deck with long outdoor table was very nice for our large extended family meals."

"Great place, right across the street from the water and right down the street from the dunes. One thing i would do before traveling is see what days things are open, a lot of stuff is closed sunday through Thursdays. The cottage has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. Plenty of plates and silverware. There are some lawn chairs for sitting next to fire. No washer or dryer, but can wash things in the sink and hang on the 2 clothes lines, they provide clothes pins. The beds are not super comfortable, but there was plenty of room for the 4 of us and our dog. Overall a great location and great cottage. "
