"We were treated horribly by Casino staff because my husband walked in carrying a backpack, which they allowed him to do, we walked right by security going in. Then as we walked out he was yelled at and cursed by security. It was unreal. Horrible experience. We go to this area annually but will never return."

"It was noisy. The doors do not have door closers on them so, when someone enters or leaves their room and does not slowly close the door, it SLAMS shut. The walls are thin. Heard snorers on both sides of us. I use a CPAP so I don't bother folks. And a large family checked in on Saturday then proceeded to loudly take over the second floor corridor as a family get-together area. I asked them nicely to 'shhh', they thought that was funny so I asked Delores to do it. They did stop but resumed later. Delores fixed it again. We will not stay here again. The front desk staff is EXCELLENT. If I had a hotel, I'd steal them. The free 24/7 coffee is great. I have stayed at hotels all across the planet and have only had problems like this in American hotels."

"Easy check-in at the front desk made for a smooth arrival. The cabin itself was spotless, and we loved the extra blankets and pillows, which made it feel cozy and well-stocked from the moment we walked in. The space heater/fireplace, fridge and mini kitchenette were a nice bonus. We brought snacks from home and mostly explored dining in town, but having that little setup made everything more convenient. Speaking of town, highly recommend the Cacapon Mountain Brewery and the Cardinal Bar… both great spots worth building your evening around. The road leading up to the cabin is a bit bumpy, but honestly? It only added to the charm. It felt like you were really getting away from it all, and by the time you arrived, you were fully in cabin mode. Would definitely stay again!"

"The video concierge was unsettling and there were no signs to indicate what it was. Snacks were unpackaged randomly on a shelf and unlabled and unpriced. Vending machines were inoperable, the breakfast was a decent spread but the water jugs looked like they were manually refilled instead of clean water delivered. The breakfast area was unlit and there were no signs to indicate where to go. The showe curtain had mildew on it. The staff was friendly and the sheets and room were clean, but the bathroom needed better cleaning."

"Our room, the lobby, and pool were clean and well maintained. The air handler was quiet and kept the room an even, comfy temperature. I also like Hampton pillows more than those in other hotels. They support the head while filling the space between head and neck. The Baltimore Street Grill is an excellent restaurant. We were bicycling the Great Allegheny Passage Trail and did not mind the mile walk into town. This would be easy with a car."

"Everything we expected and more. Visited relatively early in the Spring so we're coming back in June to make better use of outdoor dining, etc. The cabin was super cozy and we made full use of the hot tub and fireplace. We really enjoyed our stay."
