Gorgeous lake view- Only 1 mile from Sligo Marina!

This house is located only one mile from Sligo marina and 5 miles from downtown Smithville. No winding and dangerous backroads to get to this perfect vacation spot. The CHL view is of the main channel which includes a picturesque look at Sligo bridge. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood on the end of a cul-de-sac, making it is a very peaceful family retreat.

**Absolutely NO pets for ANY reason. Doing so will result in immediate eviction and zero refund.** The main floor has 2 master suites, and the upstairs includes 3 more bedrooms and a full bathroom. The bunk room upstairs comes with a kids area in adjoining room. For those inquiring on total number of beds, let us break it down for you! There are three bedrooms with king sized beds, a bunk room with two sets of bunks (twin over fulls so 4 beds), and attached to the bunk room is a small gaming room with a twin daybed and trundle (2 beds). Total beds available to sleep on is 9! That’s a lot of beds folks!!

The basement area is the perfect “man-cave” with pool table, wet bar with beverage center, a full bathroom, and a theatre room with Sonos surround sound for your family to enjoy. We have a coffee maker which is a keurig with both a full pot option or single use pods (bring your own coffee).

This house is only a 5 minute drive to Ragland Bottom “beach” swimming area and about a 15 minute drive to the beautiful Burgess Falls State Park. If you want to explore Cookeville for an array of restaurant choices after you explore BFSP, it is only an additional 15 minutes to Interstate Drive followingBurgess Falls Rd into Cookeville.

This home exceeded our expectations! It’s absolutely beautiful. Everything is so spacious - rooms to closets to bathrooms. The pictures don’t do it justice. The view from the balcony is stunning…perfect place for morning coffee. We enjoyed the fire-pit in the cool evenings followed by a movie in the best reclining chairs! We truly can’t wait to come back.

Great getaway!

Perfect Getaway with Stunning Views and Festive Charm

We had a fantastic time! The house was wonderful, with a stunning view that made watching the sunrise truly magical. Evenings spent around the fire were such a highlight. We visited after Thanksgiving, and the house was beautifully transformed for Christmas—it was over the top and so festive! Communication with the owner was excellent, making the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend!

Awesome stay on CHL as always, house was very clean upon arrival and has plenty of room for everyone. Basement is great to hang out in at night as well. Best part of this home is looking out the window upon the beautiful view every morning

What a beautiful view!

What a great time we had at this lovely home . . . from the moment we arrived and saw the beautiful lake view with no one close by . . . to the large space the ten of us had to relax and spend a nice weekend. Even though it rained much of the weekend, we played games, made use of the pool table, used the theatre room and cooked some great meals using the upscale kitchen appliances. A great getaway!

Annual CHL trip

This our first time at this home. It is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking! It is stocked very well and the amenities are great. We really enjoyed the game/media room. If you trailer a boat, the boat parking is perfect because it on a dead end street. Distance to Sligo is maybe 5 minutes. We will definitely book again 😊.

College Graduation

We were in town for our son’s graduation from MTSU and we came across this perfect gem. The pictures are very accurate and even better in person. We had a wonderful time and we’re looking forward to booking this location again. Everything that you need is already there and if not, Walmart was right down the street. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. If you’re looking at this place and can’t decide, this was the review you were waiting for… book it!!!

Weekend bonding with friends and family

We were three old high school friends who planned a weekend getaway with our teenage children so that we could get some slow down quality time with all of our busy schedules. The house has views from almost every angle, cozy gathering places, and was even decorated for Christmas. We played pool, card games, board games, read books, and watched sports and two movies in the theater room. It was easy to break out into small groups and do different activities but also come together for dinner at the big table at night. The house feels modern and luxurious and peaceful. Would love to come back again in the future!

Beautiful Slice of Heaven!

Our stay was simply amazing. We wanted something secluded and large enough to accommodate our adult children and grandkids. We were a little reluctant about it being on a cul de sac, thinking we might not be secluded enough-but we were completely wrong. Not only were we secluded, but we were surrounded by so much beauty, outside and inside! This newly remodeled home is stunning and so very accommodating. The theater room, game room, pool table, fire pit were greatly appreciated and used. Having comfy king size beds for all adults was divine! Then…the deck and it’s gorgeous views-breathtaking! We made many family memories that will be forever in our minds and the setting couldn’t of been better. You will love this gorgeous home!
