"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The spacious, clean, and refurbished room with a super comfortable bed was just what we needed. The full English breakfast had generous portions, and every meal was delicious. The staff were excellent, chatty, welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was fantastic! We loved every minute and can't wait to stay again. Highly recommended! 朗✨"

"Happy with the pod and surrounding area perfect for my dog who loved it check in straight forward,pod was clean but at times i was the only person there and the owners were not really around i felt a bit isolated and there was no emergency contact number left if there was a problem with the pod,although in the information pack there were details for Drs Dentist Vets etc perhaps adding a contact number would be good"

"Despite retaining the old pub name, this is now a B&B only, so don't expect a bar or evening meals. The accommodation was good if a little quirky. Our bedroom had polished wood floors rather than carpet, but the beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. Breakfast (continental) is a help yourself arrangement and was fine. In our case, check in was done without the owner being onsite. He texted us the access codes. The bus stop for Carlisle was opposite the front door. We stayed one night while walking Hadrian's wall."

"This was the perfect, remote, peaceful getaway.The host was in communication right from the booking and went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was magical. Thoughtful little gifts for our children as it was Christmas and a pack to decorate for New Years. Just wonderful.The barn itself was clean, spacious and fitted with everything you could need. Located in a remote area on a bird reserve was perfect for star gazing and lots of walks. Go prepared with a shop and settle in! The nearest shop is a 15 minute drive. The two eateries in the village are both welcoming with good choice of food.All in all this was a wonderful week away that was just what we were looking for.Perfect host, perfect property."
