River and country views & woodburner at ‘The Nest’

River and country views & woodburner at ‘The Nest’

10/10 Excellent
"What a beautifully presented property. We loved our long weekend break. The nest is an annex of the owner’s house, but don’t let that put you off, it is completely self-contained and private. There is a dedicated parking space just outside. And the whole place is stunning. The property consists of a garden room that acts as a lounge/dining room with wood burning stove, which is the room you first enter. Off this there is a small kitchenette, from which is the bathroom, and access to the lounge with large smart tv. This lounge contains stairs to the bedroom. There is a sofa bed in this lounge, so the property can be used as a two bedroom as long as you’re happy to access the upstairs bedroom from the tv lounge/bedroom. Although there is no fixed oven or hob, there is a ninja air fryer and a double plug in table top induction hob, so we were able to cook everything we wanted to, so didn’t feel restricted by this. There are so many places to walk directly from the property. You have direct access to the river bank from the garden, which is a god send if you have dogs that like an early morning wee! :-)We would 100% recommend this property for one or two couples. We will definitely be back!"
