"I didn't see it explicitly stated that the bedroom and kitchen-bathroom areas are separated by a shaded porch. It may not be a big deal to some, but we stayed during 100F weather, so having to step out of the air-conditioned space was not ideal. Additionally, the kitchen-bathroom area is not air-conditioned, so it was like an oven in there while trying to cook meals. Finally, the water pressure in the shower was very low. "The room could use new bed linens and pillows. They were very worn and the pillows were super flat. One chair in the room was not sufficient. More seating would be great. There was space for it. The staff was non-existent. I had to call the owner to check in. "

"Absolutely beautiful location - so remote, but only 30 minutes to San Rafael or Pt. Reyes. The road is indeed steep, but directions were easy to follow and it is well marked and maintained. Fabulous spot for people who enjoy the outdoors and walking/hiking."
