4/10 Poor

"Our hotel room was mediocre however it was the standard room so we knew this going in. Really the worst part was that the door locks and their card system was constantly failing. We probably had to get new cards at least five different times over three evenings. At one point in time, we were even locked out out of our room for an extended period of time. We missed an important event because of it. We received hardly any acknowledgment of the inconvenience let alone reimbursement for inconveniences. I visit frequently and will not stay there again. Much better options just north in the city.,"

"This is a run down, fleabag, flop house. It's dirty. The towels are old and very thin. The photographs they use on Expedia are from a different motel. The terms and conditions are different online them when you arrive. The neighborhood is very dangerous. The motel clerk is behind bullet proof glass and you have to do business from the outside through a sliding metal drawer. There is no ice machines but if you want a prostitute there's one on site for your pleasure."

"well-why the hack I picked this place at all?? this is not a hotel or guesthouse. it is just a house with some poorly maintained rooms for tourists and the conditions we just bad, Nobody took care of checking in, no toilet or shower in a room, no toilet paper in general toilets, no towel, no shampoo. no breakfast. noise all night long, bad neighborhood, nothing to do after sunset. so: I left after 1st night without even say thank you. AVOID this place"

"We had a lovely time in this lovely home. We were in LA to celebrate our son’s graduation. The home is fun and feels historic, wonderfully upgraded, but the original charm remains. It was extremely clean! Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there! The beds are great & we slept soundly. We went for a nice walk around the neighborhood to admire all of the other cute homes. The host gave us great dinner suggestions to bring in and we had a perfect dinner in the backyard. We also found a fun and incredibly delicious Jamaican take out BBQ very close. It’s called Rhymesbury Jamaican Pastry Cafe. Highly recommend. After the hectic graduation we sat on the front porch and watched the planes landing nearby. It’s close enough to watch them but not at all noisy. It was very relaxing. Stephanie is a great host. Amazing communication and easy check in & out. We would definitely stay again if the occasion arises. Thank you, Stephanie!!"
