"Fantastic location right by the quay side. Plenty of food choices and gorgeous walks all around. Port Isaac is still as beautiful as it always has been and although very popular, is definitely a Cornish gem. Property was ideal and had everything you would need, beautiful inside and a lovely welcoming feel, especially when coming home after a day out. Couldn’t fault it and so glad we found it. Will definitely return. Just remember the calf muscles definitely get a work out walking up the hills in Port Isaac but the views are to die for."

"The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit during our stay. Our room was beautiful, with some lovely touches. We had a coffee maker and yummy biscuits in our room. We also had dry robes in the wardrobe to use at the beach over the road. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as was dinner. They were very good at accommodating my husbands food allergies and had plant based alternatives for him. Even his dessert was delicious where oftenhe finds he can't have anything. The hotel is situated in a little picturesque bay, off the beaten track. Perfect for pictures of the stunning sunsets from the cliffs. Will definetly return soon"

Detached 2 Bedroom Cottage Above Port Isaac Harbour As Featured In Doc Martin.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fern Cottage and Port Isaac. As fans of the Doc Martin TV series, we just had to stay at the property featured as Doc Martins surgery and we weren’t disappointed. Views from the front of the property are spectacular and it was lovely to hear the sea as we settled down to sleep at night.The day prior to the start of our visit, Shirley, the host for the property sent us details of key collection, house rules and lots of suggestions for local eateries and tours during our stay….all information was very helpful.Parking is directly in front of the property. It is for one car only and it’s much easier to park if you have a smaller car. There is a car park on the opposite side of the village but it’s quite a distance to walk from the car park to the house….we chose to park outside of the property.Being one of Port Isaac’s most notable property’s it does have a lot of attention during the day, this did not detract from our enjoyment of the property and we would definitely recommend both Fern Cottage and Port Isaac."

"Lovely annex had all that we needed. Had a couple of issues when we arrived but housekeeping sorted it immediately. We didn’t have tv as stated but it was explained previous bad weather had damaged the aerial. It didn’t cause us a problem. We had a problem with opening our double patio doors but this was rectified on day 2 and a locksmith came and fixed it. Fantastic location great to have our own parking space at the property as they weren’t easy to come by."

"Lovely place to stay with friends. Super warm at all times, which was great during the cold weather and a great base for exploring Cornwall. Beds really comfortable and the whole house was well equipped. Would consider staying again."
