"We’ve been through Glenwood Springs a few times. This time we decided to stay at Hotel Colorado. We so enjoyed the history of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with how modern the amenities were in our room. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner perfect. We loved being in easy walking distance to the historic downtown part of town. And we highly recommend the outdoor evening dining room patio and the Adirondack chairs with a beverage watching the thunderstorms roll in! Looking forward to another visit for sure!"

"Breakfast is free and overall really nice: bagels and bread, cheese omelets, sausage, waffle makers. There were some fruit too. Room was perfect, very spacious. Bathroom was great too, good shower. Very well located if you're going to Hanging Lake. Highly recommend the hot springs (we went to Iron Mountain, it was amazing)!"

"The hotel was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, this is a basic hotel nothing fancy, no elevator, no magnifying mirror, no ice machine on the second floor. Given these things were not available I thought the hotel was overpriced. I like the town of Carbondale and you really don’t have any other options… they say the hotel is along the Roaring Fork River, which it is, you just can’t see the river! They do have a beautiful garden in the back where you can sit and watch the hummingbirds, that was my favorite part of this hotel!"

"We enjoyed our stay in one of the suites. We had fun using the waterslide, hot tub, and pool. Breakfast was pretty basic continental offerings with juice, coffee, waffle maker, sausage, eggs, muffins, cereal, a yogurt dispenser, fruit, etc. Our room and the hotel were clean and had all the basic amenities. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is older so don’t expect brand new or updated furnishings. We were pleased overall and loved the location as it was near the base for several of our excursions."

"The room was clean, the beds are very comfortable and they have 3 pillows on each bed with varying degrees of firmness/thickness. That is a very nice touch. The shower head kind of sucked, which to me is the second most important aspect in a room to me. The hotel was very quiet and the area is nice (expensive, lots of rich people around)."
