  • One of my favourite places in the world, the Royal and Ancient Course at St Andrews, Scotland. How brilliant is this course...incredible. And if you don't like golf, fine, St Andrews is a cool little town. I'd also recommend the Anstruther Fish Bar just down the coast a wee bit...and I don't really like fish and chips heaps, but delicious all the same. 2.4.2005

Lovely stay in the countryside

Loved our stay here, a great break from the busy city touring we’d been doing. Hottub was a great addition. Our kids really enjoyed feeding the sheep. There is a barn with a pool table, basketball net and other family friendly activities. Kitchen is well outfitted and the cottage we stayed in was very well suited for 6 people. St. Andrew’s was only a 5 min drive and we enjoyed walking its historic streets and visiting its aquarium (very small but we loved it) and castle ruins.
