Wedding stay
What a beautiful place to be for our wedding weekend. I've walked past this gorgeous home a lot over the last 11 years, and have dreamed of staying there. And this was the perfect opportunity. Lots of space and light, with a fabulously romantic feel. Perfect for the pre wedding fish and chip supper gathering of our nearest and dearest, delightful for me and my bridesmaid to be pampered in, and exactly what we needed to wind down in after our weekend of celebrations in the village. Trudi and Ted were incredible hosts, who were very accepting of the coming and going on the day of the wedding. Spotlessly clean and warm, this flat os a real treat. The hill is a steep climb from everywhere in the village, but that's Gorran Haven! It's a village that keeps you fit! Thank you, Trudi and Ted, for hosting a beautiful home from home.

This was a great find in lovely countryside and a good location. Has everything you need for your stay, very spacious and comfortable for 3 people. The host is very communicative and very helpful for the stay and where to visit in local area.

Perfect base for a wonderful holiday

Perfect location, lovely cottage, delightful hosts
We had the loveliest break in Gorran Haven. The cottage is clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. It's in the perfect location - near enough to everything for convenience but far enough away to feel quiet and secluded. Trudi was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

This was the second time we have stayed in this lovely accommodation and hopefully it won't be the last. Spacious, clean and very well equipped. Lovely location close to 2 beaches and Gorran Haven is very picturesque. Hosts are really pleasant and helpful but not at all intrusive. Perfect!

Amazing flat and location
We loved the flat and the associated cottage garden. All amenities were as described in the listing, neat and precise. Location is perfect. This flat is right on the coastal walk path and 2 mins to vault beach. So it was perfect for a relaxing holiday. Mevagissy (the nearest town) was very near with lots of eating options although Gorran Haven itself had many good eating options. We loved the setting and relaxing nature of the place. We were lucky to catch a drama rehearsal and their performance as well. Hosts live below the flat and Trudi and Ted were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't reach on the time we expected, but Ted was around to welcome us and we met Trudi next day. They made us feel at home and included in the community while we were there. Totally recommend this place for holiday. Especially if you have little kids who like sandy beach and would prefer a "private beach" setting to relax in.

Cosy accommodation in a lovely area
The flat is like a home from home - spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well equipped, the double bed is comfortable, and the lounge has a real fire. Trudi and Ted made us feel very welcome. They are both locals and have extensive knowledge of the area.

Fantastic accommodation
This property is in a fantastic position really close to the coastal path and extremely quiet area. The house was spotlessly clean, well appointed and felt very spacious. The owners where friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. The only down side is for those with mobility issues who have to bear in mind the steps up to the front door and the extremely steep hill to climb up from the village.

Fantastic find!
Great location very close to the SWCoast path. Lovely comfortable flat with light airy rooms. A beautiful private garden to sit out in surrounded by seasonal plants & flowers. The sweet peas had just come into flower & were magnificent climbing up the outside of the house. We had a wonderful peaceful week. Trudi & Ted made us very welcome. We will definitely visit again.

Fabulous stay
Lovely spot, so quiet and peaceful and short walking distance to Vault beach. Sparkling clean and all the things you need. We are a family of four, with a 4 year old and 6 year old. We loved it and will be back.

Beautiful place and lovely cottage
The area is beautiful with lovely coastal walks as well as short walk to the beach - such a tranquil location! Short drives to Mavigessey or St Austell. The cottage is very cute and cosy and very clean, with everything one needs. Just perfect to unwind and enjoy beautiful views and sea or country air.

Gorran HAVEN excellent retreat !
Thoroughly enjoy the delights of this apartment & property. A quiet retreat, beautifully appointed, very comfortable & spacious one level apartment. Easy parking & so close to the coastal path for superb walks. The owners are very helpful & friendly throughout our stay. The harbour in Gorran Haven is close by, a good walk down a steep hill. The bay was quiet & a lovely place to chill out. All in all a great place to relax & enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Thanks for a great time in your lovely home. Cheers!

A wonderful location
The property was cosy and the kitchen well equipped. The shower in the bathroom was not particularly good but this is the only negative. The location was wonderful and very peaceful. It was a short walk down foxhole lane ( extremely steep ) to the small harbour / beach where you can buy and then sit eating your fish and chips which are the best I have ever had. We were ideally located for trips to mevagissey, Charlestown and Fowey. It is a very steep and narrow lane to the farmhouse but we had no issues going up or down. The costal walk which you can join 2 minutes from the farmhouse is amazing. The hosts Ted and Trudie are lovely and left us a supply of their home grown tomatoes and lettuce which were very tasty. I would certainly recommend and I am sure we will revisit again …

Lovely spacious apartment, very comfortable and quiet and within 5 minutes walk from coastal path with stunning views. Owners live next door who are a lovely couple and very helpful if you need anything. It’s situated at the top of a very steep hill with a small beach, fish and chip shop, bakery and cafe at the bottom! Would recommend, need a car to get around, Eden project half hour away.

Idyllic retreat
Lovely flat in a beautiful, quiet location. Very short walk to the south west coast path and the amazing views of Vault beach, and only a few minutes’ walk down the hill to the centre of Gorran Haven. The flat itself is lovely and spacious, plenty of room for us and our two young daughters. It was very clean and well-equipped, with everything you could need for your stay. The garden is beautiful, as are the views from the flat - one of our highlights was seeing the ponies grazing in the field right outside the kitchen window! Thank you to Trudi and Ted for a lovely stay ☺️

Peaceful and beautiful
We had a lovely week at Lamledra Farmhouse c/o Ted and Trudi, our friendly hosts. The carefully-placed windows allow the sunshine to fill the flat which was also impeccably clean. A coal fire had been laid in the grate, storage heaters had been on for two days and the place was very cosy in this chilly Spring weather. The location, within a few yards of the coastal path with stunning views, is perfect. No pubs or restaurants could have guests inside but the excellent farm shop nearby meant that we had beautiful food all week. We had a really restful time and would highly recommend this property.

Perfect holiday in beautiful peaceful flat
Trudi and Ted's holiday flat was comfortably furnished and had just been completely redecorated (we were the first guests after a 4-month lockdown). It's very quiet, being located at the edge of Gorran Haven, surrounded by a lovely garden (with access to a private part of the garden for guests) and in a great location, just 10 minutes walk to Vault Beach down a National Trust footpath.

Lovely upper cottage near the sea
Roomy self-contained upper floor of owners' cottage, with own entrance. Well-equipped and comfortable. Views of the sea from the bedrooms. Lovely setting on the edge of Gorran Haven with a five minute walk down to a beautiful beach and other walks straight from the cottage. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay in charming farmhouse flat
We loved our week’s stay here exploring the Roseland . Comfortable, perfect quiet location by a beautiful beach wonderful for swimming in, close to coastal path and spectacular views and short stroll into gorran haven. Everything we needed plus lovely extra touches like fresh flowers inside. The most lovely garden! And Trudi and Tedwere so accommodating and helpful. We are lucky to have found such a gem of a place and our baby loved his first holiday! Hope to be back.

Fantastic property minutes from the beach
Ted & Trudi were fantastic hosts, extremely helpful providing local recommendations, walks/maps and even some delicious fresh vegetables from their own garden. The property was well presented, located a few minutes walk from vault beach or the town of gorran haven. Close enough to town but also enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in Cornwall.

A perfect setting
This was our second visit to this lovely property; a bright and spacious apartment with a cosy and welcoming feel to it. It has everything needed and Ted and Trudi are wonderful hosts. The garden is a perfect place to sit in the sunshine; a very peaceful setting. Vault beach and Gorran Haven beach are just a short walk and it’s a great spot for walking the coastal path. It is a steep but short walk up the hill from Gorran Haven but fine if reasonably fit. We will look forward to our next trip here.

Perfect 'home from home'
We loved our break here. The flat was spotless, warm and very comfortable. Trudie and Ted are charming, extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for anyone intending to walk, as it is a stone's throw from the coast path. The village itself is a short walk downhill from the property. We had a wonderful two night stay at Trudi and Ted's . The flat was really homely and spacious. The are is beautiful and peaceful. Great views from the flat of countryside. It is close to lots of areas of interest,the sweet fishing town of Mergissey and we thoroughly enjoyed the lost gardens of Heligan. The owners Ted and Trudi friendly and informative. Hope to come back again

We really enjoyed our stay in December, especially sitting in front of the fire and walking down to the beach and along the coast. There is lots to do nearby and visiting the Lost Gardens of Heligan was a highlight. The flat is well maintained, cosy and comfortable, a nice home away from home.
