"The hotel is in a good location near the beach, only a short walk from the town, with a decent sized clean, comfortable room. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the only real downside was traffic noise and noisy guests at times. Overall it was really good value for money for the location and an enjoyable stay."

"Lovely house in a fantastic location overlooking Porthmeor beach.House is clean, well equipped and a good size, there were only two of us but it would comfortably accommodate 6 people, two bathrooms are a bonus and there's even somewhere to wash and dry wetsuits.Our favourite part was the balcony overlooking the beach, we were out there every morning and every evening watching the seals basking on the rock or sleeping in the bay."

"First I must say we enjoyed and appreciated our stay and the host was very responsive. Our gripes are fairly minor. The accommodation was generally clean and as advertized but there was a definite musty smell on entry (there is no air flow through the property) and some dirt on the blinds and mold on the grout lines in the shower. The patio area was dirty, with filthy cushions on the seats, a smell of urine, and a wonderful view of the wheelie bins (blame the council, I guess). The sofa was tired and uncomfortable and not as shown in the pictures (which are all AI colorized by the way).The bed was reasonably comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. No complaints there. We had no hot water on arrival (labels on the switches might help) but the host was very responsive in getting the issue fixed. Communication was excellent. And we had plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower.The VRBO description mentions a BBQ grill that was nowhere to be found. The location was ideal for the harbour and access to the beach and shops but you definitely need to be prepared to drag your bags to and from and climb the hill to the long term parking (which costs extra). No problem if your fit and healthy."

"Everything very nice and clean. Only problem was working the door key system but eventually succeeded. Also outer door lock to the street a bit loose and requires a bit of maintenance. Lovely views - will revisit."

"We had a lovely stay a stone throw away from the harbour and all the old areas of St Ives. It was really well kitted out and a nice welcome pack of local essentials. We had no problem with communicating with the owners when we had a little issue. It may be worth noting the key safe is inside the first door. Otherwise have a great stay as we did."
