"I recently stayed at this hotel in St Ives and had a very disappointing experience. The room I was given did not match what was shown in the booking photos at all. It felt misleading and not worth the money. Cleanliness was a major issue — the room was not properly cleaned, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Basic services were also missing, and when I raised these concerns with the staff, there was little to no response or effort to resolve the situation. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and mismatch between the advertised and actual room made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this hotel to others and strongly suggest future guests be cautious before booking."

Cosy cottage on pretty cobbled lane by the harbour

"Expensive but excellent location on a quiet lane in the center of old St. Ives. Parking spot includef, but beware that it is a considerable distance away near the top of a steep hill on Bishop St. Not a problem, just need to allow time for that. Dropping off luggage and picking up again at the end is possible (recommended) by driving directly to the front door. Tight lanes and roads double as pedestrian walkways in the center. The unit itself was excellent and exceeded expectations. Quiet enough for a great sleep. The gas fireplace provided good heat on a chilly early season weekend. Electric heaters in the two bedrooms were also good. Good and very fast internet, though the provided Wi-Fi instructions were incorrect -- instead get the ssid/passwd from the back of the modem in the lounge."

"Clean , comfortable property, ideally located for walking around StIves. Parking spaces are very limited so we paid for a week in the Island car park which was nearby. This meant it was a risk to leave the car park and find an available space on return. This did limit our plans on travelling around although we did use the train which is only a walk away"

ST ANNAS COTTAGE - wonderful family seaside cottage next to Porthmeor beach

10/10 Excellent

"St Anna’s cottage was cute and homey and conveniently located in the heart of St. Ives. While there was no parking on site, we were able to find a long stay car park within 10 minutes walk and then could walk to everything the town had to offer. The cottage itself was very clean and well equipped with all we needed in the kitchen and to do a load of laundry. We’d be happy to return to this lovely cottage on our next stay."
