"It was a nice family holiday for us at Treganna. Breakfast buffet was ok, the green spaces inside the estate excellent. Our apartment was clean, unfortunately no one showed up from house keeping in the first 4 days. I was expecting more frequent cleaning when I am staying 7 nights in a hotel. Location wise it has easy access inside the estate to walk down the beach. There are many excellent restaurants around at St ives. It was a peaceful nice and clean hotel. Thank you"

"Everything very nice and clean. Only problem was working the door key system but eventually succeeded. Also outer door lock to the street a bit loose and requires a bit of maintenance. Lovely views - will revisit."

"We have just stayed for 2wks at Mariner’s Cottage which is perfectly situated on Back Road East. We were 3 adults, 1 child and 1 dog. The cottage itself is in serious need of some TLC. Open all the kitchen doors and you will know what I mean - exposed cables and poorly fitted units. The fridge is not correctly secured in its cabinet so be careful opening the door as the whole unit wants to jump out. The lack of skirting boards in the living room is just poor finishing and exposes gaps and mess. The dvd player and dining room chest of drawers were non-existent - not that this had any bearing on our holiday. Outside - the shed door needs attention and the agent should really remove all weeds and make the outside areas more attractive (See Downalong Cottage, 2 doors down for comparison). Whilst we appreciate it is peak holiday season the condition of the cottage did not warrant the price. Despite these negative points, which are simple to address, this COULD be a beautiful holiday cottage if the owner invested some of their money"

"Great location, very close to porthmeor beach, was easy for the kids as less than a minutes walk. Has everything you need, and fairly quiet. Comfy sofa and smart tv was handy as has Netflix etc. towels were also provided, iron, hair dryer, outside tap for sand, comfy beds. Parking was handy, just a little difficult to get to with the one way systems now in place, so unloading and loading was a challenge as you feel in the way of pedestrians when pulling up. The parking was a few mins walk away but didn’t need it once parked up for the week. Kitchen provided everything we needed and has a washer/dryer. We had a lovely stay here overall"
