"Perfect location in the middle of a perfect line of cottages - just what I was hoping for. But, the ground floor of this terrace was basic, unheated and could do with a refurb. I know from experience that to really update this flat, you would need to throw 75-100k at it to insulate the ceiling (so you didn't have to listen to the 10 o'clock news), update the bathroom (massive sink not needed and tiny shower), simplfy the kitchen (4 hob cooker? who needs them, just a combo oven and one halogen plate) and the dishwasher tablet left with a bin liner? and I'm guessing that it would not be financially viable to spend that money.....So, maybe just have it as clean as possible, install some kind of heating to drive out the damp and try and forewarn guests in the kindest way that it is very basic and lower the price a little. Other people on the course stayed in B&Bs which were cheaper per night.I hate to be the negative one but after 40 years in hospitality its hard not be a little judgmental.There are so many things going for this property but it just needs to be a little cheaper and the listing a bit more realistic."

"Stayed there before always found clean tidy did get upgrade this time. Food always good . But it has changed hands, next year will try it again if we can afford it . Always friendly staff also free parking was a bonus . "

"Had a poor experience at this hotel I would not visit again I checked in 31st March had a long drive down the woman on the reception was not helpful at all we checked in slightly earlier but she just said check in is 3pm I get that I’ve travelled the world my point is she was just rude she couldn’t even suggest in waiting in the lobby, I had to take all my cases back to the car as there is no direct car park for this hotel which is another joke no one tells you this till you arrive so they take your keys away we don’t know where it gets parked and they keep the keys, well I wasn’t going to let that happen. Went for dinner that night the guy that welcomed us was very nice and welcoming as for the other staff which really let’s this places down are very lazy not pro active I asked for 2 cocktails a pornstar Martini I’ve never seen a pot rat martini served like this before was so watered down and the presentation was poor, dinner was good apart from the desert chocalte pudding more like rock hard straight out the freezer when asked the waiter he said he would let the chef know that’s no good like I said poor customer service let’s thisplaced down then at brekkie my chair broke in front of everyone again the staff are not active at all so lazy I had to ask if I could move tables and then on top of that we had to wait for our cooked breakfast over 30 mins bearing in mind the hotel is not busy yet so I dread to think what it would’ve like at peak My Tv in room and internet crap "

"The outside was scruffy, plant pots full of weeds and generally neglected. Inside the cleanliness of the floors was poor. The bathroom on the top floor had woodlice in the drain and sink. The Wifi never worked, it was hard to get a reply from the host management, and when they did reply they offered nothing constructive to rectify the issue. The operating manual was badly out of date. would not return or recommend, which is a shame as it had potential."

"Lovely little cozy apartment that was perfect for our three night stay. Linens were crisp and duvets were fluffy. The staff were all delightful and we loved the sea views. 10/10"
