Top Tate St. Ives Hotel Reviews
Tregenna Castle Resort
8/10 Good
"It was a nice family holiday for us at Treganna. Breakfast buffet was ok, the green spaces inside the estate excellent. Our apartment was clean, unfortunately no one showed up from house keeping in the first 4 days. I was expecting more frequent cleaning when I am staying 7 nights in a hotel. Location wise it has easy access inside the estate to walk down the beach. There are many excellent restaurants around at St ives. It was a peaceful nice and clean hotel. Thank you"
The St Ives Bay Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff always happy & helpful. We have stayed here a few times, it’s close to where we love to walk around. View is beautiful too"
Cosy cottage on pretty cobbled lane by the harbour
8/10 Good
"Hübsches Haus, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Gut gelegen mit Nähe zum Hafen, Strand und im Ort. Die Wände zur Nachbarwohnung sind dünn."
Stunning Sea Views Sleeps 4 in lovely 2 bed, 2 bath show flat, garage included
10/10 Excellent
"Spacious property with 2 good size bathrooms. Fabulous views from the lounge area of the sea. A short walk to Porthmeor beach via the Tate Gallery. All amenities are 5 minutes in to the town, probably a 10 minute walk on the way back.Everything that was advertised was spot on. We only wish we had stayed longer! Thanks."
Fabulous holiday house with garden and nearby parking, close to town and beaches
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous spacious house, the hosts had thoughtfully provided everything we could have needed, and the house is in a great location, walking distance for everything in St Ives. Communication from host was brilliant. Highly recommended "
Peaceful with Patio in Downalong, Moments from Beaches, Harbour, Town, Parking
8/10 Good
"Lovely accommodation in a great location for all the beaches and galleries nearby. Having our own patio was a great bonus"
Old Arch Cottage, The Digey - 100m From Beach & Town - Free WiFi - Pets
8/10 Good
"We had the most wonderful week in Old Arch Cottage, our first visit to this cottage. The location of the cottage is just perfect and catered to all our needs. Literally two minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach and one minute walk to Fore Street and then a bit further to the harbour. The welcome pack was gratefully received. The cottage was very cosy and well supplied and surprisingly quiet, despite it being on the main walk between Fore Street and Porthmeor Beach. Dropping our luggage at the end of the road was quick and easy, with a short walk to the cottage and the little bench opposite the front door was nice to sit on and enjoy the sun while watching the people pass by. One minor complaint, but nothing too serious - it's a struggle to take a shower in the small downstairs shower room as it's so small, but useful as a downstairs toilet or if you need to use it to shower off sand and sea. It most certainly wouldn't stop up returning again. Thank you, we hope to be back!"
3 bedroom Cottage 1 min. from Porthmeor Beach for up to 6 people. With parking
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, very close to porthmeor beach, was easy for the kids as less than a minutes walk. Has everything you need, and fairly quiet. Comfy sofa and smart tv was handy as has Netflix etc. towels were also provided, iron, hair dryer, outside tap for sand, comfy beds. Parking was handy, just a little difficult to get to with the one way systems now in place, so unloading and loading was a challenge as you feel in the way of pedestrians when pulling up. The parking was a few mins walk away but didn’t need it once parked up for the week. Kitchen provided everything we needed and has a washer/dryer. We had a lovely stay here overall"
Shell Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"Shell cottage is in the perfect location, handy for all the shops and the sea front and is the perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs. We have stayed many times now and it is our go to holiday cottage but it is starting to look tired. It could do with decorating and certain things replacing. My niggles are relatively petty but annoying all the same. The plates are too big for the dishwasher as are most of the glasses, the few that remain that is. It is reasonably well equipped but the equipment is old and worn out. The baking trays are unusable as the coating is flaking, the knifes are blunt, the crockery is chipped, etc.The shower regularly backs us needing a visit from maintenance. The little courtyard is always overgrown and filthy, again requiring a visit from maintenance. The pictures should be updated on the booking site to reflect the current standard and general maintenance should happen regularly rather than as requested. That said we have our next two visits booked but will be bring additional things to use especially for our visit over Christmas where we will have no choice but to cook. A bit of TLC would go a long way towards making this the perfect 5 star cottage."
