"All you could want and more at this hotel it’s fabulous "

"Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. There were lots of extras - we particularly liked the biscuits - and the tea and coffee making facilities were great. The room and en suite shower room were both extremely clean and we felt that the standard of housekeeping was especially high. good bedside tables, a dressing table, two chairs and a wardrobe offered ample furnishings. A lovely, cosy room only lacking a window. The lights seemed to be quite dim and, without natural light in the room, it would have been great to have brighter lights. That's just a minor point, as we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. "

"Wonderful accommodation in a lovely village with a great pub within walking distance.Knarsborough is nearby with boat hire and walks along the river and Fountains Abbey national trust is definitely worth a day trip to."

"The cottages are beautifully situated in a peaceful rural setting. They are surprisingly spacious yet still extremely cosy and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-kept with the welcome addition of really useful and thoughtful amenities. Big thanks to the hosts who were incredibly helpful and friendly.
