"I loved this historic hotel which harkens back to prior times. The common areas are fabulous. The lobbies are full of overstuffed chairs, which encourage one to sit, linger and watch people. The breakfast room is full of light,with enough food options to satisfy royalty. Our room was cozy, the bed comfortable. My only complaint was the lav faucets. Note the plural. H & C. Not H/C. No mixer valve."

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."
