"The room layout made no sense. We booked an oceanfront room and it had a nice porch to sit on with the ocean view, but when you first walk into the room the beds are the first thing you see, then the bathroom area, then the sitting/kitchenette area, then the porch. It felt backwards. The sitting/kitchenette area should have been first, and the bedroom area should be next to the sliding doors so guests can hear the ocean at night. However, it was so noisy outside our room that I don’t think we’d have heard the ocean even if the room was set up that way. This resort is also way more family (read kids) oriented than expected. All we heard the first two days there were kids yelling and running everywhere. And the parents are so lax at paying attention to their kids that they don’t even notice (or care) how loud they are or if they’re disturbing others. The mattresses and box springs were so old and worn down that we were rolling into the center of the bed every night because there was no support, which made for very unrestful nights. The “couch” in the sitting area was a loveseat and not even long enough for an afternoon nap after the beach. I wasn’t made aware until just before check-in that there was a $25 per day parking fee, but the lot was so full one night because of an event they had on the beach that they allowed non-guests to park there for that the only spots left were out by the road. This was my first and last stay at this resort. It was disappointing for sure."

"Having a pool that was warm and a hot tub on site was great with a small child. Shaded pool lounge chairs. We could watch sunsets from the fishing area right across the road and there were multiple restaurants within a short walk and one on site. Drinks at the bar were ok. Pool had floaties for kids. And the beach wagonswith chairs and beach umbrella and small cooler you could check out for uses were super useful amenities. The beach is just a few blocks from the hotel and easily walkable. The closest section of beach also has restrooms and concessions which was nice. Our biggest complaint was general cleanliness. empty glasses and trash were left in the pool area and for days at a time, pool lounge cushions were stained and dirty and our room on the first floor smelled heavily of mold the entire 5 days. I am not sure if the same issue was present in second story rooms. The property over all was trying to be modern appearing but lacked some general cleanliness like cleaning carts sitting out in the open our entire stay. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating when we asked for assistance though."

"They did not clean the room the entire week. We had to search them down to get a few clean towels, toilet paper, etc. When you would actually see anyone from the staff in passing, we would say “Good morning”, none of them ever replied. They brag on about Billy B’s, but did not care at all about the hotel. "

"Room was clean, i like the lay out. Staff was awesome. Our balcony was nice size, faced more of the bar and pool but still had a good view of the beach. We would definitely stay again."

"The beach view was amazing! The staff super friendly. The rooms were clean little out of date. The beds and pillows super comfortable. There was a little kitchen sink, microwave, mini fridge toaster and silverware! Plenty to do on the resort! Plus it’s on an absolutely stunning beach. Everything extra food & drinks pretty costly. But so worth it! We’ll definitely come back!"
