"I booked this room to be close to the airport, which it was, because I had an early morning flight. The accommodations were no frills and did the trick. My frustration is that I did not have an actual Address to direct my Uber driver to other than the name of the lodging and the postal code. They also have remote check in which was fine until my phone died when I was at dinner. I realized I didn’t have my charger on me and did not memorize the code to get into the room. The only way to contact someone was by email, text or call. I did borrow a phone from another guest to call and no one picked up. Luckily they had a charger that I could borrow and charged my phone so I could look up the code to get into my room. This proved to be very stressful as I was locked out of my room with all my belongings inside, an early morning flight and no way to contact the venue other than text, email or calling."

"We loved our two night stay in the cottage. It had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable - pillows and duvets were so squidgy. We also really enjoyed feeding the goats in the evening. We will be returning next year."

"Robert & Hilary C We have spent the last few years in different properties in England but this was by far more superior than any of the others. The property is in pristine condition and is more than adequately supplied with kitchen equipment and laundry facilities. The owner left assortment of milk, butter, wine, fruit and two cakes which were greatly appreciated. Everything was there for our comfort making our stay memorable. Really appreciated C owner visiting shortly after our arrival and telling us to contact her, if we had any problems. The village of Chew Magna is quaint and we had a lovely Sunday Lunch at the Queen. Certainly if we were ever in the area again we would have no hesitation making a second visit. Many thanks Jacqueline."
