"The place was nice all redone and new. And parts were still under construction. But the only problem we encountered was the check in process. We could not find anyone when trying to get our room or code to get in. and email check in time and texted time were different times. Other then that all good "

"We had an enjoyable stay in Essex. The lake is lovely and we took advantage of getting out on and in the water. The house, which is updated, offers multiple spots to sit indoors or out to enjoy the view. Our group was all adults, but this house and property was well set up for families with young children. Downsides included WiFi issues to start, bedding issues, and an initial concern about an algae bloom in the lake which resolved itself after a day or two but would have been a major limitation given we chose the rental based on the water access. "

Easily accessible to Boston as well as to the north to New Hampshire and Maine. The house itself is modest but generously stocked with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. From the smart TV to comfortable beds, it was a pleasure to come back to after exploring the region. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you would need to prepare meals. I would definitely stay here again if my travels brought me to the area. "
