"Location location and location! If you want to live in time square this is the best place to stay close to everything, easy access to subway, broadway theaters and many restaurants. For the size of a hotel rooms and all other area was really clean and well maintained. Didn’t have to interact with staff much but whatever constant we had was great. Revel and rye had good breakfast, cappuccino was great, staff was helpful there as well. We didn’t need to use parking but there was definitely parking we saw so many cars parked. They have revolving restaurant and bar on the 48th floor which I really enjoyed it at night time for winding down area. It was quiet and peaceful with the view of the city. Drinks were bit expensive but really good but it was worth it. And last but not least hotel gives you $40 dollars credit to use it every day to the view, revel and rye and broadway bar, they charge you but they give you credit back so make sure to use your $40. On a last day we found a place called perch behind the restaurant on 8th floor, outside patio with the time square view. If you don’t feel like going down state in that crowd but still want to enjoy the atmosphere this is the place to go, there was plenty of sitting available. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL."

"We had some issues with the air conditioning being broken but the staff was quick to resolve it and were very helpful, but then my friend lost her earbuds and the staff was extremely rude (but did help us find the earbuds after three days of back and forth). The doormen were also very kind and helpful every time though, props to them! The overall hotel could use some repairs, it’s pretty dated and the outdoor areas (specifically the pool) felt almost rundown. It is, however, an amazing location and we had no problem navigating the city from the hotel. I would probably stay at this hotel again just for the budget friendliness, the location and the friendly doormen!"

"They charge $6 per bag to hold them when you check out in morn if you still have the day to spend in the city. I’ve never had to pay for that at any hotel I’ve stayed at before. They also charge $38 a day for their “fee”. They do offer a $35 credit a day for food or drink to off set that I guess. We decided to get Starbucks the next morning to use the credit and waited almost 45 minutes for our order to only be incorrect. The lattes we ordered had no flavor and the chia was very off. Complete waste of time and the credit. Air conditioner wasn’t cooling efficiently. They did send someone up very quickly. He was able to get the room a little cooler and we got a fan brought to room . Room was clean and comfortable. Mattresses were a bit too soft for my liking but I know some would love it."
