Self contained apartment that provided a home away from home. Apartment was clean with ameneties as described. Location was also great, in the heart of the old city - just a short walk from the castle and with lots of great cafes and resteraunts around.

My daughter and I spent 2 nights at the Scotsman. It is a lovely hotel very close to the Royal Mile and just over the bridge from the train station. A great location. The hotel is beautiful and iconic. The carpets in the hallway seemed a bit worn, but our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful, and the hotel had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms and hotel overall were clean. The staff was excellent despite a full house (we went during the early May bank holiday and my goodness they must be at their maximum occupancy). The hotel itself can do with a bit of sprucing up though
