"The hotel is definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was not helpful and rather rude at checkin."

"The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there were spots on the ceiling that raised some eyebrows. Gym was clean and well stocked. Reception was overall very helpful except for delays in housekeeping/maintenance arriving to solve a plumbing issue. Great value for money for London and the location for time of year."
