"Location just off the beaten track, close enough to enjoy the new Forrest without long drives, far enough out to not have too many people around. Lodge is big, comfortable, spacious, really well furnished and clean. Hot tub was perfect. Highly recommend the arrival breakfast package, and the lovely touch of freshly cooked bread and cake was a great welcome gift! Highly recommend and will be going back to stay again. "

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. The beach was within walking distance and the country park had an indoor swimming pool. We had to pay £50 extra for this but it was worth it as the children aged 4 and 6 went in twice a day. We stayed here to visit Poultons Park which was also a great day out for the family. The host for this property was very prompt in all responses and had left wine and biscuits when we arrived. Very professionally managed."

"The property was as advertised and in great condition with spacious dinning area and kitchen and separate lounge. We made the short drive to the beach where we enjoyed a windy walk. Overall a lovely stay in a lovely house, located in a lovely area."

"What’s not to like. I needed an inexpensive place to stay for business. The road to the lodge is up a small country lane. You pass the lodge on your left in front of you and park up there if can. You check in at the health club which is about 100 metres up the road. Staff are very friendly and helpful at check in. Room was not what I expected as it’s part of the old lodge so lots of windows! But black out blinds worked well! but was really spacious and the bathroom. Was very new and clean....

"Sorry to say this is a large caravan not a chalet in my opinion.It was well equipped and positioned in what is a very large park. I have had many holidays in chalets and this one unfortunately was not amongst the best, indeed it was expensive for the short stay"

"We travelled to Thatch Cottage for a three night stay for my 50th birthday extravaganza. The communication with our hosts as excellent and the check-in process was simple. The property is amazing and the facilities were perfect for our needs. "Although this is a hotel, its more of a restaurant with rooms now. So it was quite noisy and busy in the evenings, with live music on one evening. However the music/bar closes promptly at a reasonable hour so not a huge problem. The staff are lovely and the restaurant food was fabulous. So much so that we ate far too much...It sits on the cliff top and we were able to hear the waves crashing overnight to lull us too sleep, not our first stay and wont be the last. "
