Stayed at the Appleby Inn for 2 nights as attending a wedding at Twycross zoo. The room was lovely and spacious. We ate in the restaurant on Friday evening and enjoyed very good food. Even the lighter bites were plentiful. Breakfast was as good. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were so helpful and accommodated our needs. A great stay in a great hotel.

Great Hotel to Stay
Best hotel around this area, food in restaurant is excellent at very reasonable prices. Beware - portion sizes are large. Staff are excellent and very friendly. I can’t fault the place!

Great stay
Hotel is comfortable and clean. Bar has a great selection of drinks. Restaurant is excellent, great food. Above all, the staff are brilliant, nothing is too much for them, extremely friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel!
The Hotel its self was great, we had Room 6 which had a double bed + 2 single beds either side, topped of with a living room and bathroom. Too all my tall people im 6"5 and the shower cubicle was amazing... head room was a good 8-9ft so no complaints there!! also had enough room in there to shower properly and not catch your elbows on walls/doors. The room its self was absolutely amazing - very clean and very well maintained (amazing job to the cleaning team!!) we stayed the first weekend in December 23 which was cold outside (barely got above -0.5) so to our surprise we walked into our room and it was like a furnace (well done Appleby Inn!) Overall our stay was just the 1 night, but in the price we got breakfast included too which again was amazing kids loved the "Hot chocolate machine" Service was good all around and would definitely stay here again if we're around the area and require a BnB!

Mobility room
Room was large and ideal for a wheelchair for accessibility plus a disabled parking space directly outside. Assistance dogs allowed too. Ate in the restaurant, food was really nice and breakfast too.

Great apartment which suited us after a day out at Alton Towers to travel back to London the next day. Great food and the breakfast was 10 out of 10.

What a brilliant place to stay. So friendly and welcoming. Had a problem with the shower but was looked at straight away. Food was brilliant, only one downside the poached egg wasn’t runny. But still very taste great breakfast

The Appleby Inn was ideal accommodation for us, as we had a quiet ground floor room with parking outside our room. During our 3 night stay our breakfast and evening meals at the hotel were enjoyed. We would happily return to utilise this hotel on any future visit to the area.

Great place to stay!
We had a great overnight stay here! The room was incredibly clean and was well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Staff were helpful and breakfast really good too! We also had a meal in the evening which was very good, as was the service. We'll definitely be back.
