Location Location Location & Great Value @ Tahoe Donner!!!

"The location was fairly clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and loved that it was a quiet little place to come back to after a long day of exploring. The kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of supplies, much more than we needed for our weekend trip. The game loft had a bunch of games that were perfect to keep my nephews distracted while we prepared food and got gear ready for our outing. The only complaint we had was that a couple of the kitchen items hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. The keurig still had some rock hard coffee grounds in one of the reusable pods inside the machine and one of the pots in the cabinet had splotches of what honestly looked like vomit in/on it. Minimal effort on our part to clean up, but it was a little gross. We did not make use of any spices or condiments that were in the fridge or cabinets as we brought our own. Overall, I would recommend this property for a fun getaway."

"The house was amazing! There was a large group celebrating my son’s wedding. This was the perfect way to spend the week after the wedding to relax and enjoy Tahoe. The views were so beautiful. We enjoyed all the amenities. Everyone loved their rooms. The en suites were perfect! We really liked the large kitchen and dining area. This became the usual hang out due to the openness of the area. The host was extremely helpful with my planning and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this to everyone and I would love to stay here again."

"We had a very pleasant stay in Truckee at this cute cabin! Very pet friendly with comfy beds and plenty of space in common areas to hang out! We loved the privacy of the loft master bedroom, and the mattress was new and comfy. The cabin had a nice selection of games and activities and we appreciated the passes to the pool/sauna, although we didn't take as much advantage as we would like. It's definitely got the cozy nostalgic vibe of a childhood summer cabin and would be nice for families!"

"We had a great time staying at this property. The house was very comfortable, clean and lovely. We loved that everything was on one level, and the back access to the yard area was very convenient especially for our dogs. The host was very responsive in messages and very helpful. There is a trail right around the corner from the house. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend !"

"We had a lovely time. The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. A few nit picky points.The location - it is on the corner onf Northwoods Blyd, but you don't know the exact address until after the cancellation date. There was a lot of road noise and if I had a dog who didn't listen well or small children I may have been more concerned.Also, there are no blinds on 2 main front windows. It felt very exposing to the road. . Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed having our dog with us. We even had just enough snow to make a little sledding hill on the backyard. "

"Our two families had a truly wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and comfortable throughout. Even when the snow and rain made the roads too treacherous to travel, we were more than happy to stay tucked away inside. There were plenty of things to do in the home that kept everyone entertained—the foosball table and the winter jigsaw puzzle were huge hits with the kids! We would definitely love to stay here again."

Truckee Retreat - Multi-Level Cabin with Game Room

4/10 Poor

"The bathrooms need updating, new sinks and tubs needed. The toilet in the main level bathroom smelled. The rug, toilet brush and trash canister need replacing. The batteries weren't working in the fan remote. Kitchen items were poor, particularly the pots and pans, and there is only one lid. The plastic containers need to be thrown out. Only 2 of them have tops.The heater in the basement didn't work. The team member couldn't get it working. The beds were uncomfortable, except for the queen bed on the main level. The exterior stairs need sanding and painting. The electric broom didn't work. There were very large ants."
