"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "The hotel was functional, all the basics were there, not luxuriously glamourous, but I don't want that. It was all clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, but the self-service area was too small for such crowds of people, especially for wheelchair users who were having difficulty to manoeuvre in the narrow space. I arrived at 1.00am, late due to train holdups, and would have liked something to eat, but there were no snacks available. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay again."

"Very difficult to find your way around the hotel, we struggled to find reception when we turned up. Gym and pool were nice and rooms were nice and big, the room felt like a 5 minute walk away from the bar and reception areas. Breakfast buffet was poor, arrived at 9:30am and everything has been sat there a while and was stale and cold."

"There is no reception at the property so you need to be a bit more prepared than I was when you arrive. You need your key code to hand - which is easier to do before hand not when stood in the rain after a long drive with no reading glasses and little patience. That overcome (the info is in a mail and you can re-request) the room was of a good standard and the bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot and with good pressure. The tea and coffee facilities (including a pod machine) looked of good standard, although I didn't use due to only spending a short time in the room. Parking is not ideal as you can only book via council or ringgo 4 hours with then free parking between 10pm and 8pm, which is ok if you arrive after 6. This meant I had to move the car to the a side road which was about a 5 minute walk away. Above small issues aside and knowing the issues before hand would book again."
