I recently stayed at this holiday home with my family and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean, warm, and spacious, and the hot tub was a great addition. We loved our stay and all felt comfortable as a group of 9. There was plenty of space to hang out, and it was a quick drive to Oban and a beautiful journey to Glencoe. Gillian was very responsive and helpful.

Family Stay

We all had an amazing time at Gillian’s lovely house. The house more than accommodated a family group of 12 adults and our dogs with plenty of space for cooking, eating and relaxing. The hot tub was a fab added bonus! The location was perfect, being only a 20 mins drive from Oban and with lots of lovely walks in close proximity. We will definitely be back!

This is a fantastic property very clean and very roomy the pans in the kitchen could be better renewed though . Bedrooms were all very roomy and comfy beds . Outside was good too plenty room for kids to run around

Taynuilt

The villa at Taynuilt was above expectation and a lovely holiday for the family. The rooms were beautiful and layout exceptional. This was a birthday treat for me and my family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The hot tub was very well received and we made good use of it during our stay. The villa is well situated within the village with lots of nice walks. It’s also close to Oban where we visited for a meal out. Would def recommend.

Perfect break

We celebrated my retirement with the family and the house was just perfect. Everything was as described and all of us had the best time! I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing and fun break. The hot tub was a welcome addition after walks and driving and exploring the beautiful countryside. Thanks Gillian for everything! Spacious and tidy. Exellent base to come home to after outings. Adorable little village. improvement suggestion: Convert small den to eating area, because there really wasn't enough room to seat 12 people around dining table and also not enough room for one or two people to stand up and move about during dinner.

Good family holiday home.

We enjoyed our stay and had great fun using the garden and hot tub. Upstairs looked as if it had been recently refurbished however there were a few snagging points ie broken hinges on doors. However this may be the result of a busy season beforehand. Large sitting room ideal for big families but we struggled to fit round the dining table.

Stayed in this house for our annual family get together, there was 8 adults and 1 child, the house was perfect big enough to play games an have quality family time, though also big enough for privacy. I had asked for early check in and was grateful to be allowed this at no extra cost, we received a lovely welcome gift and had all the practical things available like tea and coffee which was very thoughtful. Thank you for allowing us time in your extra special holiday home and hopefully book again when the hotel is rebuilt.

The house is truly amazing, all rooms are decorated in unique yet authentic way. There is everything one can possibly need inside the house. Great for a family gathering and staying inside. It’s a bit far away from key PoI but with the car totally reachable. The only thing, we tried to reach out to the owners after we left, as my son left a plush toy cow which was very dear to his heart, but never got any reply.

Outstanding beautiful home

Our check in was 4pm so we spent the afternoon in Oban and arrived just after 430pm. From start to finish this home was absolutely beautiful. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. A very high finish, lovely fixtures, showers were fantastic, couches were lovely and comfy. The hot tub was excellent and we enjoyed it every evening after hiking in Glencoe. Oban was only 20mins drive and had lots to do including a very exciting boat tour. Absolutely loved our stay and loved the house. It fitted us perfectly and even had a downstairs room which was ideal for my 86 year old mum. You will not be disappointed.
