"What a lovely place to stay! We were a group of 7 girls here for a long weekend in February and we absolutely loved it. The cottage was a perfect base for Bere Island and a night out at mccarthy's. The terrace was stunning with sun flowing in to the living room all day! We ate in a lot too as the kitchen was really well stocked with equipment and spices. Thanks Rercy :)"

"My family of four really enjoyed the house. The location to the park and town center were very convenient. Easy walking distance to both. The traditional home had a nostalgic feel while having all the modern amenities of a newer home. (Including very nicely updated bathrooms)The back yard and gardens were amazing. We made fires in the cosy little mini cottage. Nice way to end the evening. If you have a family or group, I highy recommend this place vs a hotel."

"Beautiful house, immaculate. Spacious rooms and large walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, warm. No satellite TV unfortunately. Great views all round, the sea and the mountains. "Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!"

"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."
