"The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable, with a cathedral ceiling, a comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom. It was quiet and LOVELY. The welcoming hostess was hospitable- she met us at the door both nights- and helpful. We were not prepared for the fact that the view included a busy road. The photos on the website show the main beach in Hull, but that requires a drive. We looked out on a small tributary/pond, with a busy road to the right of our balcony. Aside from being more truthful about the view, my only suggestion is to make the signage about when breakfast is available more uniform. The sign in our room and the one in the kitchen differed from the directions provided by the hostess, which happened to be correct, but we only found this out after the first morning, when we assumed (based on the sign in our room) that we had missed breakfast and thus did not go downstairs. We had breakfast at our own expense, although it was included in the room charge. That is an easy fix."

"We enjoyed our stay. It’s right across the street from the beach with beautiful views and near a ton of restaurants with one of the nicest being right downstairs. The rooms were clean and showers were nice. You could definitely see some things needing updates in the hotel but they always had someone working on things so looked like they are keeping it up. Would definitely recommend."

"Very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment nicely decorated and laid out with a lot of amenities: bedroom with queen size bed and ample closet space, good size living room, laundry, bath with shower, and private outside space with lounge chairs, cafe table and chairs. The space is light, bright, and meticulously clean. The furnishings and linens are new and the host has clearly put a lot of thought into her guests’ comfort. There is a small dining and kitchenette area with mini fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker (similar to what you’d get in a hotel room). The neighborhood is a quiet residential area about 10 minutes’ walk from the beach. One caveat..the house is on a high hill, so the short walk up to the property from the beach and commercial area might be tough for some. There is parking for 1 car at the house, and an easy drive to restaurants and other attractions. Jody is an excellent host! We loved our stay!"

"This was perfect for my husband and myself. Location was awesome. Loved the beach front acsess. The balcony overlooking beach was lovely for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The apartment was clean and well stocked w all your basic needs. The building was safe and secure! Would definitely stay again if we were in the area."
