"The pool is empty. The floor in the bathroom hadn't been mopped. You could see the droplets on it from other people. The renovations aren't the best quality. Alot of caulk in places. And the balcony is right against the next building... like 4 feet away. So there's no view of anything. The only real selling point is location. It's right on the main road. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. "

"Breakfast was good. Room was clean, but we thought the air-conditioner might have had mice in it. There was a strong offensive odor coming from it. We told the front desk at check out. We loved that our bed was made daily and we were provided with clean towels and washcloths daily. The balcony river view was great. We used it morning and evening. "

"This was our first time to stay at the Bearskin Lodge on the River. It was clean, quiet and convenient to everything we wanted to see & do. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be back for another visit."

"The room we stayed in had been recently renovated and I think they did a great job with it. It was a very cute space. The cleanliness was about average or maybe slightly below. The room felt cleaned but there was a ton of hair on the shower drain as if they sprayed and rinsed the shower but did not wipe it out. The parking and location are fantastic. Right in the middle of everything. I was extremely disappointed to find the hot tub was closed though. I specifically booked this hotel so we could enjoy a nice evening sitting in the hot tub after our long motorcycle ride. But such is life. I would stay here again though I think the price may be a tad high for the rooms themselves, you are paying for the central location and not having to pay to park while you're there."
