"The facility is clean and the service is wonderful. Our room had a double whirlpool tub that we enjoyed very much! We werent expecting it but it was just wonderful. The hotel is close to so many KC venues. The area is at the edge of downtown so its a mix of retail, industry, corporate, and some street people. But nothing unexpected in a downtown area. The small parking lot is enclosed but we saw no reason to be concerned. We felt safe and just truly enjoyed the people we met who work there. "

"Upon arrival at the property, we had a hard time locating the unit because the house number wasn’t listed on the house. Then, upon entering the home, we encountered a horrible odor. The house was extremely dated & in poor repair. The kitchen counter was rigged to stay on, numerous cabinet doors were broken or about to fall off, the internet used old 2G technology & would not work, there were no wash cloths provided, there were spider webs scattered throughout, the screen door was missing the glass & very flimsy, the backside of the home looked as if it was an abandoned building, & the landscaping was horrendous. The property description on VRBO was totally inaccurate & had I know the true condition of the home, I would have never made the reservation. Full pictures aren't provided for a reason. We immediately left the home as we were not going to stay in such a place. I immediately contacted the host to let them know. They ignored my pleas for a full refund & refused to reply to my requests until I filed a complaint with VRBO. We never stayed or used the property & should not have been charged for the five nights we had reserved. I messaged the host multiple times & she simply ignored my messages knowing we had major issues with the reservation. I’m very disappointed and warn guests to never reserve this unit. I was only in this place 15 minutes and they refused to give my money back. The host simply refused to the right thing. Run....don't rent this unit!"
