"We had a delightful stay in Essence Boutique Hotel. The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The balcony especially was lovely. The pool area is beautiful with a mixture of loungers and beds. The hotel is well located for the beach, restaurants and nightlife and the staff were lovely. Would love to stay here again."

"Staff were friendly, check-in/out went smoothly. The room was smaller than I expected but the size was stated on the listing and it was clean and had all the basics required. However, it was quite noisy, the door to the outside had a gap at the bottom which let noise in from the outside - usually people talking or machinery being used outside peak sunlight hours. I could also hear loud water noises from the wall shared with one of the neighbouring rooms whenever one they turned their tap on. Both of these meant I didn't sleep well for 3 out of the 4 nights I stayed. But overall a good hotel, great location with 10-15 mins walk to the nearest train station or bus stop and public transportation is frequent. The pool was a nice temperature and the sun loungers were well maintained."
