Duplex of 98 square meters 30 meters from the beach, in La Carihuela (Torremolinos) Decorated in a tropical way, my accommodation will enchant you. On the ground floor there is the kitchen with breakfast bar, the living room with sofa bed, also a sofa bed, a toilet, a balcony and a terrace. On the upper floor there is the main bathroom with bath, the master bedroom with a bed of 1. 50 meters and the bedroom with two beds of 90 meters. Also a huge solarium terrace. Have you got Wi-Fi.

Carmen 8 supposes to stay in an emblematic building of the traditional fishing district of La Carihuela. The building has a double entrance, by Carmen pedestrian street and Ramos street. It crosses an Andalusian patio of low houses. They are only duplex, there is nothing else built on top. In the hours of 11: 00-14: 00 hours and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm you will enjoy the sound of the water falling with the fountain located in the common corrala.

The duplex has two safes. Also kitchenware, towels, linens, Nespresso machine, blender, dishwasher, washing machine, sun loungers, beach towels, toaster, juice maker, microwave, iron, hairdryer, hair straightener, diffuser, first aid kit, salt lamp, humidifier, shampoo, bath gel and also voporeta for those who do not like to iron. It has Samsubg air conditioning in the living room and master bedroom. All rooms have double glazed windows.


There is a day supermarket less than 50 meters from the floor. Down is full of shops of all kinds. You do not have to take the car. It is in the area with the greatest atmosphere of La Carihuela: Playa Miguel. It is full of bars and restaurants with great price. The center of Torremolinos is 15 minutes away on foot.

It is only 15 km from Malaga city and 8 km from Malaga airport. If you arrive by train, the local train station. The bus that goes to Málaga is 110 and it is 400 meters away. Both the going and the return.
The marine tradition survives in one of the most important beaches of the Costa del Sol

It is not hard to imagine why Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner, Orson Welles or Frank Sinatra chose this beach to enjoy the Mediterranean in the 50s and 60s. Next to the sand you can enjoy a magnificent promenade and numerous shops, bars, restaurants and beach clubs in one of the most characteristic areas and a must-see in the municipality. If you walk to the west you will reach the small beach of Saltillo and then Puerto Marina, or Benalmádena. In the other direction is La Punta or Morro de Torremolinos, the natural monument that divides the Paseo Marítimo in two.
When the city woke up to the tourism and the first great hotels, like the Tropicana or the Swordfish, opened their doors, half Hollywood happened through the Carihuela. The sun, its two kilometers in length and the wide offer of restoration turned it into one of the most attractive places of Torremolinos, that even today preserves the charm of typical Andalusian village that one day was.



Today, La Carihuela continues to be a world-renowned beach. A place of modern tourist facilities, but also of respect for its marine origin. The streets of this neighborhood still maintain their fishing tradition, their humble origin and the certainty that the soul of Torremolinos is hidden there.
Still survive some of the small houses and chamizos that started the neighborhood of La Carihuela. The beach is one of the most popular in the Costa del Sol: its characteristics and services make it one of the most desired to relax and enjoy a good rest, but also to savor the best fried fish. A true paradise for all the senses.

Terrific beach apartment with lovely patios
This property is very clean and cozy. The patios are lovely and the kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook. The hosts, fatima and patricia, were responsive and ensured our stay was hassle free. Only potential cons were the checkin person did not speak english and it is a bit of a walk from the train station (20 min).

Great Location, Enjoyable Stay
Stayed at the property with another couple. Stayed for one month. Communication with the host was excellent. Responses were immediate. The month stay included 2 cleaning days. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials to do some cooking. The location is outstanding. Close to the beach and close to bus stops that will take you to Malaga and surrounding Villages. The main bedroom beg was comfortable however one of the single beds in the other room was lacking in comfort. The unit is small, but aren’t most places in Europe. One quickly adapts. Have no problem recommending this property.

Great Location
Stayed in La Carihuela many times before,, location to everything is excellent, Apartment was spotless and has everything you need, Definitely needs the safe to work so store passports etc, lovely balcony which gets the sun until late, communication from Fátima the owner was excellent throughout. Only small downside is no air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom, apart from that would use again.
