"The staff are most welcoming and helpful.
They make you feel that they really care about your experience at the hotel. If I owned an hotel I would be trying to poach them."

Firstly, our room was immediately upgraded, as the larger room wasn't being used that night. Very comfortable, sooo much room, beautiful breakfast, quiet room, nice location. Would stay here again if in the area. 5/5.

Location if fantastic but just beside the main roundabout into Largs so can be a little busy. Very spotless place and in very good state of repair. Parking is limited but great if you have a small car. Very happy with my stay.

If you're looking for the Ritz and service with a fawning smile, it's not going to happen. What you will find is a very comfortable room, albeit on the small side, with a cosy bed and hot shower at a good price. Which is exactly what I wanted. A nice touch is the daily top up of caramel wafers delivered by a very friendly cleaning lady.
The area itself is superb, right down by the Harbour. There are plenty of options for good food - do not miss The Ship Inn or Harbour Lights and cakes,...
