"It was a girls trip for my Mother’s 70th birthday. The cabin is very cute and has a really nice porch to sit out on and enjoy the weather and sounds of nature. I love the pictures around the cabin that tells the story of the cabin and the progress of its build and remodel. Communication from the owner Melissa was great and it fit our needs and expectations perfectly."

"The house and property is beautiful. Plenty of room for a large family. It was not very clean. Cobwebs in corners, windows, on lights and lamps. 1 of the bathrooms had mold in the shower. The hardwood floors were beautiful, however you could see dust under furniture and along stairs. Upstairs mattress in master was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Downstairs tub in master leaked into basement bathroom. Kitchen was not very clean, Grease on stove and back splash. Coffee maker had dried and...

"I can’t begin to say enough about this little oasis in the woods. Don’t let the woodsy surroundings concern you. This place is manicured, well lit, and has everything you’ll need when you get there to get you started. We were met with snacks and drinks just to start with. Extra everything paper, huge bottles of name brand shampoos and soaps, as well as things like pasta, and several things in the fridge like sour cream, of all things! I’m sure what is stocked there changes from guest to guest...

"Great location. Very walkable to all the fun things Elkin has to offer, including a local brewery/pizza place and a fantastic cocktail bar. Hiking trails for all levels within walking distance from room. Nice studio room, very clean, but a little small for two adults. Needs comfortable seating, task lighting and bedside tables of some sort. 3.5 out of 5"
