"Bed was comfy. But room was freezing cold and heater didn’t work properly. Offered a portable heater by staff when I complained. Breakfast was terrible. Eggs looked like something I threw up during my first hangover at 16. No mugs left for tea/coffee. No glasses left for juice. Eventually glasses come out from kitchen but roasting hot. Not worth the money at all. Very disappointed"

"I just wanted to share my appreciation to both staff manager and hotels.com colleagues for listening to my request for a bath and due to me going through the worst 2 weeks of my life, tackling landlords and letting agency’s with countless housing incidents and not having support. This upgrade on the suite room really left me so overwhelmed and I cried with happy tears. To feel so supported like that really made my stay so enjoyable. The bath and the room was amazing. The staff were kind and considerate giving the fact I had work in the hospital the next day. The bed was perfect and to top things off the view, iron, ironing board for my uniform and general peace was so much needed. I cannot thank you all enough and I would recommend this hotel to anyone! PS just a little tip get a window cleaner to clean the moss round the edge of the outside interior and maybe a touch of paint! Other than that the hotel is lovely! "

"We regularly stay in many hotels in cities and this was by far one of the best ones we have stayed in. The rooms were beautifully decorated they felt spacious yet cosy. The room had some of the best amenities available. The room had a stocked fridge which had free items in it and a coffee pod machine. The room and hotel were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fresh and had a great selection, they even do room service if you cannot be bothered to go downstairs for it. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We will definitely use this hotel again when we visit again and will recommend to friends and family."

"Check in was simple and we left our luggage pre-stay whilst meeting a friend travelling on a later train. Room was clean and stocked with amenities in bathroom and fresh milk and bottled water in fridge. Overnight the room was quite warm even with heat on low. Windows opened but then a little noisy due to proximity of theatre and train station (both handy for us as we were on a theatre trip). Breakfast was pleasant and tasty. Checkout as easy as check-in. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout the stay. "

"There was a slight issue with a previous guests item in our room upon arrival which was immediately addressed by staff (Alice was amazing!!) and I was offered an upgrade to an amazing suite and a drink on the house. The hotel is beautiful, well situated in the city centre close to everything you need. Overall it was an amazing stay and it’s clear that the hotel cares deeply for ensuring every stay meets their expectation and when it doesn’t, they go above and beyond to rectify that. Thank you again!"
